IMPALA Puts the SPOZZ Manifesto in the Spotlight of Its 2025 EDI Report
Brussels – IMPALA, the European association representing over 6,000 independent music companies, has released its 2025 Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Report, reaffirming its commitment to building a fairer and more inclusive music sector across Europe.
Among the initiatives highlighted is the SPOZZ Manifesto — a forward-looking statement outlining strategies to empower under-represented artists, independent labels, and diverse music communities.
By referencing the Manifesto, IMPALA underscores the rise of artist-driven, ground-up frameworks for equity and inclusion. The SPOZZ Manifesto aligns closely with IMPALA’s own 12-point EDI Charter, adding a fresh dimension of accountability and innovation.
The report also introduces IMPALA’s new EDI Toolkit for member organisations, combining self-assessment, benchmarks, and training. The inclusion of SPOZZ serves as a key example of the kind of transformative initiatives IMPALA aims to promote.
“We’re honoured that IMPALA recognised the SPOZZ Manifesto as a catalyst for positive change,” said Christian H. Müller, Founder of SPOZZ. “Our vision has always been to make fairness, transparency, and diversity the foundation of the new music economy.”
For SPOZZ, this recognition strengthens its position within Europe’s independent-music ecosystem — showing that collaboration and inclusion are now essential pillars of a sustainable future for artists and creators.
