EXIT FESTIVAL AND TIX LABS AT SPOZZ'S TWITTER SPACE

SPOZZ’s latest Twitter Space was loaded with music and technology, with the presence of the marketing representative of EXIT Festival – one of the most important festivals in Europe and pioneer in the use of NFT -, the COO of TIX Labs and one of the founders of SPOZZ.club.

Blockchain technology and NFT have diverse applications within the music industry, not only for those who wish to release and trade their songs -something that will be possible in SPOZZ-, but also when creating invitations for a festival or developing special collections for fans.

In this regard, EXIT is a summer music festival held in Novi Sad, Serbia, with more than 1,000 artists performing on more than 40 stages. During the latest SPOZZ Twitter Space, EXIT Marketing Coordinator Ognjen Tomašević told how they have made inroads into NFTs technology in recent years. For ticket sales with NFT technology, they have been supported by TIX Labs, whose COO – Zlatan Osmanagić – was also a participant in SPOZZ’s latest Twitter Space, which was moderated by Andrej Besu, a member of the Marketing team at SPOZZ.club.

In this article, you will find some of the highlights of this Space, to which you can also listen to it here.

EXIT: A MUSIC FESTIVAL PIONEERING THE USE OF NFT TECHNOLOGY.

Founded in 2000, EXIT was proclaimed the “Best Major European Festival” at the 2013 and 2017 EU Festival Awards. It develops events in Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria.

At the latest SPOZZ Twitter Space, Ognjen Tomašević, Marketing Coordinator of EXIT Festival, explained EXIT Festival’s Web3 technology use case and its record-breaking NFT ticket sales in collaboration with TIX Labs.

Tomašević highlighted that EXIT Festival 2023 was one of the first major music events in the world to use blockchain technology to sell NFT tickets, with over 150,000 visitors in four festival days.

From this success, EXIT won the UK Festival Innovation Award and has now been shortlisted for the DISRUPTOR Award at the Ticketing Business Awards.

The EXIT Festival Marketing Coordinator said that, in previous years, they made NFT collections with famous DJs and Influencers:

  • TRIBE, intended for the first members of EXIT’s web3 community.
  • SHADES, with famous DJ and producer Maceo Plex
  • WINGS, created in collaboration with Christina Carmela, South African pilot and women’s rights activist.
  • HEADPHONES, with the first EXIT logo from 2001, but in 3D.

EXIT AND TIX LABS PARTNERSHIP

The partnership between TIX Labs and EXIT Festival is a prime example of the innovative solutions that the ticketing industry needs to meet the demands of event attendees.

For the 2023 edition of the EXIT Festival, in addition to regular NFT tickets, ten NFT ultra VIP tickets were put on sale, priced at €10,000 and offering access and various benefits.

Zlatan Osmanagić, Director of Operations at TIX Labs and blockchain expert, commented on how NFT solutions can help artists, creators, events and different areas of the industry.

THE ECOSYSTEM THAT SPOZZ.club IS CREATING

During the Space, Christian Mueller discussed the Web3 ecosystem that SPOZZ is creating for artists and creators, which includes an NFT Marketplace and Music Streaming App. Currently, SPOZZ has its own NFT collection for sale called “SPOZZies”, which will have various utilities on its different platforms.

In relation to its expansion plan in different regions of the world, in the last weeks, SPOZZ has established contact with EXIT, one of the biggest festivals in Europe. In the future, SPOZZ could deliver support for EXIT’s Comprehensive Center for the Development of Global Music Stars by providing the necessary Web3 solutions for artists.
